The Cub and Boy Scouts will observe Scout Sunday at the 11:30am Mass on Sunday, February 5th, in recognition of their founding in February 1910. The Scout Law says that a "Scout is Reverent" and Scouts of all ages promise to do their "Duty to God". These values strengthen youth character in their family, community, and faith. Keep our Scouts in your prayers.
CCW Annual Fashion Show
On Saturday, February 11th The Parish Center will be bustling with fun, featuring appearl from Chico's Fashions. Join the CCW for lunch, friends, and raffles. Doors open at 11:00am. Cost is $20 per person, or $10 for children under 12. Check the bulletin or website for further information.
Just a reminder, St. Raphael School Students will be off on Tuesday, February 7th while teachers attend an inservice training. Moms, dads and students, enjoy the day!
February Faith Circles
Five Faith Circles begin this month focusing on Divine Mercy. This 10 week series could give you a deeper appreciation of the Devotion celebrated the Sunday after Easter each year. Click here for dates and contact information.
Annual Pastoral Appeal (APA)
This year's APA Appeal, "Rejoice in Hope" begins the weekend of February 11th & 12th. For the last four years, thanks to your generosity, St. Raphael has been successful in meeting our APA Assessment, in fact last year we surpassed it by almost $20,000. This coming year our assessment is $245,220, an increase of about $14,000. With your continued support we will again meet our goal. APA envelopes are available in the Narthex, and they are also available in our weekly envelopes. You may also give through our Parish Online Giving or through the Diocese Online Giving Account. THANK YOU for your continued support.
Girl Scout Cookies
Sponsored by St. Raphael Girl Scout and Brownie Troops, the ever popular cookies will be available for purchase the weekend of February 18th & 19th in the court yard area of the church.
School Spring Theater Performance
Follow the Yellow Brick Road! You have two chances to enjoy this wonderful play put on by the students of St. Raphael School, coordinated by Mrs. McDonald, our 1st grade teacher. Tickets will be available soon for the shows, Saturday, February 25th at 7pm or Sunday, February 26th at 1pm. Watch the bulletin for more details.
Register NOW for the Retreat at Bethany Center, March 24th through March 26th. St. Raphael HS youth will join with St. Jude and St. Lawrence teens to experience friends, fun, and faith together! Cost is $90 which includes food, lodging, and a t-shirt. To reserve your spot you must have your permission form and payment submitted by Friday, March 3rd.

Stubenville Youth Conference reminder
The Stubenville Conference is July 7th through the 9th. The deposit and agreement forms are due by Monday, February 20th for High School students planning to attend. Click here for more details.
Lent begins, Wednesday, March 1st with 8am Mass (School), 7pm Mass, and Liturgy with Ashes at Noon. What would Lent at St. Raphael be without our infamous Friday Fish Fry?! Mark your calendar now for the first Fish Fry on Friday, March 3rd at 5:30pm in the Parish Center.
