Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1st. Mass at 8am (School Mass), Liturgy of the Word with Ashes at Noon, and Mass at 7pm. Help yourself to the Lenten Gifts availabe in the basket in the Narthex to help inspire you this Lent.

Coming this Lent! Join our Sunday Faith Circle that meets on Sunday at 10:30am in the Media Center featuring the Wild Goose, a series on the Holy Spirit, that can also be found on Formed.
St. Raphael Fish Fry - Friday
This year's Friday Fish Frys start on Friday, March 3rd and continue on Fridays from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. Support our Youth Group and catch up with neighbors and friends, enjoy great deep fried Mahi-mahi and take a chance at one of the raffles.
R C I A JOURNEY
We invite you to keep our three Catechumen and six Candidates in your prayers as they continue their journey to receive the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil in April. During the Sundays of Lent we will celebrate many of the Rites of the RCIA at the 9:30am Mass. KOC Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, March 5th
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting another Pancake Breakfast following the 8am and 9:30am Masses on Sunday, March 5th. Take the morning off from cooking and join the Knights for fellowship and a tasty breakfast.
Daylight Saving Time begins 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March. Remember to SPRING AHEAD on Sunday, March 12th 2017.
Parish Blood Drive
The Florida Blood Service bus will be here on Sunday, March 12th from 9am to 1:00pm. Roll up your sleeve and help the many people who depend on blood donors like you!
The St. Raphael and Holy Family Council of Catholic Women will be sponsoring a Half Day Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 18th. Father Eric Carpine, OFM will lead the retreat on "Finding Contentment In Our Stressful Lives." The Retreat will be held at St Raphael's Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE, St. Petersburg, FL. The retreat will begin with a Rosary at 7:30 AM in the Church followed by 8:00 AM Mass. The event includes a continental breakfast, ending early afternoon with lunch in the Parish Center. Mark your calender and watch the bulletin for further details.
Register NOW for the Retreat at Bethany Center, March 24th through March 26th. St. Raphael HS youth will join with St. Jude and St. Lawrence teens to experience friends, fun, and faith together! Cost is $90 which includes food, lodging, and a t-shirt. To reserve your spot you must have your permission form and payment submitted ASAP! We're ordering t-shirts this week.

March 13th through 15th
Fr. Tom Washburn, a Francisan of the Immaculate Conception Province, will offer our Mission Salt and Light. Join us on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7pm. Monday will be a Liturgy of the Word, Tuesday will be the Parish Lenten Reconciliation Liturgy and Wednesday Mass. You will meet Fr. Tom at all the Masses the weekend before.
