Tuesday Rosary Group

As summer approaches and our personal needs and schedules shift it might be just the right time to find some personal prayer time with our Tuesday Rosary Group.  Join them on Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the Reservation Chapel on the south side of the Church.

1st Holy Communion

Congratulations to the 45 children receiving 1st Communion this Sunday, May 7th at the 11:30am Mass.  We know the church will be filled with excited parents and grandparents, as these children receive Jesus in the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time.  What joy this day brings!   [Don't forget to get your 1st Communion picture next to the statue of St. Raphael!]


May Crowning



Our School children celebrate May Crowning and Grandparents Day Friday May 12th during the 8am Mass.  The CCW celebrates May Crowning at their end of the year Mass at 8:00am on Saturday, May 6th.

 Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.  Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.  Amen!

Happy Mother’s Day


We are offering the annual Spiritual Bouquet for those who would like to remember their mothers (living or deceased) on Mother’s Day.  Please contact the Parish Office 727-821-7989 no later than Monday afternoon, May 8th to arrange for a card.  The suggested offering is $10.  Mothers will be remembered at all Masses that weekend.

Congratulations Deacon Castro

On Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am Bishop Gregory Parkes will ordain Elixavier “Xavy” Castro to the Priesthood. The ordination will take place at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle (5815 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg) and is open to the public. Following the ordination there will be a reception in the Parish Hall.

Vacation Bible School [VBS] Registration is open!

From June 5th through June 9th from 9am until noon the kids will travel through adventures of the bible.  Maker Fun Factory "Created by God, built for purpose" is a wonderful way for all children, grades 1 through 7 to reinforce they are a God's creation.  Registration is $45 per child.  Adults who volunteer may bring one child free of charge.  For more information click here or contact Lynn Edmonds at 821-7989 x2116 or

Teen Scene is available for middle school youth entering 6th & 7th grade.


Parish Blood Drive

The Florida Blood Service bus will be here on Sunday, May 21st from 9am to 1:00pm.   Roll up your sleeve and help the many people who depend on blood donors like you! 



Altar Server Training

Altar Server Training will take place on Saturday, May 13th from 10am until 11:15am and Tuesday May 16th 6pm until 7:15pm  All servers are expected to attend at least 2 trainings each year.  Instruction is not broken down by grade or age.


Congratulations to our 30 eigth grade students graduating on Monday, May 22nd at 4:30pm.  Our prayers and good wishes are with them as they mark this important milestone in their young lives.  God bless!  Our thanks and appreciation to the parents, teachers and staff who have supported them through these years.
