All Saints Day

November 1st

Sunday, November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints.  It is a day set aside to remember all the saints, known and unknown, who enjoy the glory of heaven.  Regular Saturday evening and Sunday Masses will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints.

National Vocations Week

November 1-7th

Encounter, A Night of Prayer for Vocations: In recognition of National Vocation Awareness week, the Office of Vocations will host Encounter, A Night of Prayer for Vocations, on Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at St. Timothy Parish in Lutz.  The evening will include Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Praise & Worship.

Zoom Chat with Seminarians: Fr. Chuck Dornquast, Director of Vocations, would like to invite you to our virtual discernment group, Zoom Chat with Seminarians. This discernment opportunity is open to all young men high school age and above.
The next session is on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Fr. Chuck will be the host and each month will include vocation stories from different seminarians followed by Q&A .

Mass of Remembrance

Wednesday, November 4th at 7pm

This year the St. Raphael Mass of Remembrance is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00pm.  We come together as a community in a special way to remember those who have died in the parish this past year (Nov. 2019-Oct. 2020).  If you would like the name of a loved one to be included, please contact the Parish Office, 821-7989, no later than 12pm on Mon., Nov. 2nd. Benediction will be at 6pm that Wednesday.

Fr. Curtis and Fr. Lou on Spirit FM

Fr. Curtis and Fr. Lou will be guests on the Spirit FM Morning Show for the Father Friday segment.  Tune in online or on the radio 90.5FM from 7-9:30am on November 6th with Fr. Curtis and on November 20th with Fr. Lou.

St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive

Nov. 7th - 8th and Nov. 14th-15th


St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets to those in need in our area.  Your donations of non-perishable food items will be collected in the Narthex the weekend of Nov. 7th-8th and Nov. 14th-15th.  Some suggestions of donations include: canned meats, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, canned soups, pie fillings, Jell-O, pudding and crackers, packages of stuffing mix, instant potatoes or scalloped potatoes, Jiffy corn mix, etc.  Thank you in advance for your donations of food and toiletry items, they help to satisfy a larger volume of need during the holidays! 

During Thanksgiving Mass there will be a special collection for the work of St. Raphael St. Vincent de Paul Society.  There is a special envelope in your envelope package for this contribution. An online giving fund is open thoughout the month of November to financially support our St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Thanksgiving Day Mass

 November 26th,  9:30am

Thanksgiving Day Mass, Thursday, November 26th will be celebrated at 9:30am. The Thanksgiving Day offertory supports St. Raphael's  St. Vincent de Paul Society. 

Wednesday night Benediction will be at 5pm and there will be no Wednesday evening Mass.

November Office Schedules

School will be closed on Monday, November 2nd.

The Parish Office will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans' Day.  School will be in session on November 11th. 

Thanksgiving Schedule: School dismisses on Tuesday, November 24th and classes resume on Monday, November 30th.  The Parish Office will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 25th and will be closed Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th.
